Player Spotlight: Henry Allen, Auburn High School

Henry Allen is picking up where he left off this season for Auburn High School baseball.

Allen leads Auburn in home runs, runs, RBIs and doubles while also leading the state of Alabama with 10 home runs.

“He is so talented and is such a great player for us,” said Auburn baseball head coach Matt Cimo. “He has batted in the three spot since being a freshman, was selected for the USA Team, was an All-American, and now is up for Gatorade Player of the Year.”

Auburn is currently 17-13, and Allen is in the running for Alabama Gatorade Player of the Year.

Allen is currently committed to Mississippi State.

With the playoffs beginning in a couple of days and some work left for Auburn to make the postseason, the Tigers are thrilled to see Allen step up in a big way.
